Facebook’s new Pages application allows groups of people, like our non-profit organization, to have a presence on Facebook much like a profile. Thus, we’ve started up the GBLUR Centre page so that we can post status updates and allow people to become fans with just one click. GBLUR Public Forum:
Finally, another reminder that this coming Saturday, June 13th, GBLUR will be hosting a public forum to kick-off Pride Week. The Forum is being held to discuss plans for a new resource centre in Downtown Regina. We will start off with a pot-luck lunch, followed by a presentation by GBLUR and Gens Hellsquist, Executive Director for Canadian Rainbow Health Coalition, and then a discussion period. We encourage YOU to be there and get in your word. The event starts at 12:00pm at the Cathedral Village Neighbourhood Centre, across the street from the Safeway on 13th Avenue.
